I've conducted extensive research into the origins and development of the Garamond Premier Pro typeface, exploring its historical roots, the individuals responsible for its creation, and the diverse range of weights and styles it encompasses. This comprehensive study has provided valuable insights into the evolution and significance of this iconic typeface within the realm of typography.

When considering type layout and composition for this newspaper, my aim is to maintain an editorial, oriental aesthetic while showcasing the typeface to its fullest potential. This approach emphasizes the importance of typography in conveying the essence and character of the publication's content, ensuring a visually engaging and cohesive reader experience.

I art directed the schematics, color scheme, selected weight, paper material, and guided the image capture process to ensure cohesive visual elements and a harmonious aesthetic throughout the project.

I aimed to craft a dynamic and elevated icon that embodies the essence of the Garamond Premier Pro typeface. Utilizing the bold weight and capital G, I created a symbol consisting of four letterforms, each intricately designed to represent the unique characteristics of the typeface.
